Endogenous heat syndrome
  Endogenous heat syndrome refers to any feverish conditions during a pathological development, e.g. body fluid loss. Individuals can present with hectic fever, night fever, burning sensation in the palms, soles and chest, night sweat, irritability, thirst, red and uncoated tongue, thready and rapid pulse. It is usually due to the heat evils which results from the end transformation of other evils inside the body

內熱指疾病發展過程所致的熱性証候。它可以是體液虧損所致，相關表現有潮熱、夜熱或手足掌心及心胸煩熱、盜汗、心煩、口渴、舌紅苔稀少、脈搏細數等。另外，內熱亦可指熱邪侵入體內深處，或是其他病邪入侵而最終轉化為熱邪的結果，相關表現有面紅目赤、心煩、發熱、口渴、便秘、小便量少而顏色深黃、舌紅苔黃乾燥、脈搏沉實等。
