Hello, I have been suffering with severe anxiety (especially social anxiety). My body goes into freeze response and I go all rigid, especially my throat, and it gets very hard to speak, and my thought processes just stop and I become excessively ˇ§people-pleasingˇ¨. Sometimes there is tension in my eyes and a head ache, and my digestion is very very slow. What baffles me is that after this panic episode, instead of feeling drained I feel the opposite, as if the freeze response with-holds all energy. I swing from these opposite poles, frozen, silent, and then after, overly-energetic and hyper active, as if energy was building up during the freeze response. I would really like to know, what organ is responsible for holding back and suppressing the expression of energy, ˇ§storingˇ¨ it in the body for later?
I would be so grateful for an explanation on what has been going on with me.

The experiences of anxiety are unique to each person, there is no single treatment works for everyone.
What kind of treatment or medications are you taking now?
You need to seek help from a group of specialists, managed by a combination of therapies and go through a process of trial and error so as to relieve the situation bit by bit.
Chinese medicine is specialized relieving some of your physical problems such as digestion and headache, so you can have more energy to deal with the tension in head.
