I've a severe case of hyperhidrosis. I'm 38 and I've had this problem ever since I can remember. I'm very physically active, I exercise and I try to maintain a healthy life style. But my sweating is excessive, specially when I have physical activities or/and the weather is humid. It really only takes me a walk or a few minutes to start sweating (even in weather of 10 or 20 degree Fahrenheit) while running or walking in the heat.

I've been tested for my thyroid gland and everything has come out normal.

I'm very susceptible to respiratory problems as well as to severe seasonal allergies (rhinitis, hay fever, etc).

Is there anyone who could point into the right direction to find the solution to my hyperhidrosis problem?

Thank you.

Sweating problem tends to run in family that means it is often inherent in nature, cannot find the cause.
It is often a condition that can only be control but canˇ¦t be cured.
The situation usually subsides gradually in late thirties.

From a Chinese Medicine viewpoint, sweat is regarded as the fluid of the heart.

Excessive sweating may lead to some health problems, it is beneficial to replenish qi (vital energy) and invigorate the lungs. The lungs distribute protective qi over the body surface and they regulate sweating process.

Stronger lungs also mean the bodyˇ¦s immune function is enhanced, which helps improve your allergic symptoms too.

You should consult an experienced Chinese physician, who can diagnose your disharmony pattern precisely and prescribe suitable herbs to modulate your body for a period of time.
