Posted - 17/12/2015 3:49:52 I have been getting accupuncture for pain related to a neurological disease for well over a year with no bad affects, until yesterday. He put the needles in, let me rest 10 minutes, turned them and within 5 minutes my heart rate went up into the 90's, sweaty palms, nasiated and dizzy. I was completely relaxed. Before I left the office they checked my heart rate again and it was still in the high 70's, my eyes were huge according to my husband and I was shaky. Anyone know what could have caused this? It has never happened before

Posted - 19/12/2015 11:56:28 What is your usual heart rate? Because 60-100/min is regarded as the normal range. What did the physician say about this? Next time you should report physician about this reaction, and be well prepared before treatment. http://www.shen-nong.com/eng/treatment/acupuncture_precautions.html
