Hi all,

I'm not able to understand the concept theory of why a chronic Lung Qi deficiency could evolve to a severe Lund Yin deficiency.

Certainly TCM is complex as once the symptoms change over the time then the syndrome gets involved as well (e.g Lung Qi Def >>> Lung Yin Deficiency >>> Lung Heat...) :-)

Yin and Yang mutually create and depend on each other.

Disease symptoms usually change over time, and therefore, so as the type of syndrome a person experience.
Lung qi (as a yang aspect) deficiency will definitely affect lung yin and become depleted too.
