Indications: Bloody and painful urinary problems or simply blood in the urine, accompanied by thirst, irritability, a red tongue with thin and yellow coating, and the pulse is rapid and forceful. With appropriate modifications, modern TCM often uses the formula in conditions like acute urinary tract infection, urinary stones, renal tuberculosis, polycystic kidneys, renal cysts, sickle cell disease, hydronephrosis and benign prostatic hypertrophy.

適應症：下焦熱結致血淋常用方，表現尿血，小便頻數，赤澀熱痛，口乾，煩躁，舌紅苔黃薄，脈洪數。現代多用於急性泌尿道感染、尿路結石、腎結核、多囊腎、腎性囊腫、鐮狀細胞病、腎盂積水、良性前列腺增生等。
