Syndrome differentiation   Syndrome differentiation is the method of recognizing and diagnosing diseases or body imbalances in TCM. It involves analysis and synthesis of the clinical data obtained by the four examination methods. This enables the doctor to determine at which stage the disease has developed, its location, and the degree of opposing force between the body resistance and the pathogenic factors otherwise known in TCM as the evils.		bian zheng 辨証   辨証是中醫的診斷過程，即將四診(望、聞、問、切)所搜集的資料，歸納出病情的特徵及變化規律，並確定為某一"証型"。中醫的証型或証候是機體在疾病發生過程中，某一階段之病因、病位、病性、病狀、病機的綜合概括，顯示病人在該階段正邪雙方的狀況和發展趨勢。
