Minor Bupleurum Decoction
(xiao chia hu tang 小柴胡湯)

Indications: alternating chills and fever, dry throat, bitter taste in the mouth, dizziness, irritability, chest and rib fullness, nausea and a poor appetite. With appropriate modifications, this formula can be used in conditions such as upper respiratory tract infection, influenza, jaundice, malaria, peptic ulcer, gastritis, chronic hepatic and gallbladder problems, postpartum fever, lymphadenitis, and intercostal neuralgia.

適應証：少陽病表現寒熱往來，胸肋悶滿，胃口差，心煩嘔惡，口苦咽乾，視眩。本方性味平和，臨床應用很廣，如外感熱病、傳染性肝炎、膽囊炎、肝硬化，慢性胃炎、胃潰瘍、產褥熱、淋巴腺炎、肋間神經痛、急性乳腺炎、低熱待查等出現上述少陽証。
