Four-gentlemen Decoction
(si jun zi tang, 四君子湯)

Indications: Paleness, feeble voice, limb weakness, reduced appetite, loose stools, a pale tongue and the pulse is weak. With appropriate modifications, modern TCM uses the formula in conditions like nervous debility, chronic gastritis, peptic ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome as well as promoting recovery after major disease.


主治：脾胃氣虛，表現面色萎白，語音低微，四肢無力，食少便溏，舌質淡，脈軟無力。現代常用於神經衰弱、慢性胃炎、潰瘍病、腸激綜合症，屬脾胃氣虛者。亦常用於促進大病康復。
